Getting Graphic

Hello friends!

I know, I've been a very bad writer and neglected my blog for far too long. Sometimes real life steps in and knocks you around a bit and, without boring you with all the gory details, it's been one of those times for me. Long story short though, I am a single woman now! Yep, as you may imagine, they are all lined up around the block for me (and you'd have to imagine it since it's complete fiction) as I revel in my new life of swinging singledom (which in no way involves me drinking copious amounts of wine of an evening, sitting in my parents' lounge with them doing the quiz out of the paper).

But enough of my sexy new life! I have writer-y news to impart. First, I am in here! It is not
my first attempt at being included in one of Maxim Jakubowski's  fabulous collections - the man has a discerning eye and insists on the right stories for the right anthology - but it is my first successful attempt! So I am stoked to be included amongst some of the best in the genre here in this wonderful collection of over 40 smoking hot stories. If you're not familiar with the Mammoth series of books you should really take a look. (And for those interested in crime writing he also does a Mammoth series for that genre as well.)

Next, check this out...

That's right! You can have all three of the my Draper Estate novellas all in one lovely paperback. So for those who still love the feel of a book in your hands, this is for you. Plus, you don't have to wait to find out what happens next. Gulp the whole trilogy down in one go, if you like. I'm not judging. Pour yourself a glass of wine and a bubble bath and have at it.

Finally, last but definitely not least, a project that has been in the works for over two years now. That's right, I pitched this idea to the awesome people at Sweetmeats Press when I was still back in Canada. This is the tale of Charlotte, a shy library worker and frustrated artist who begins illustrating her naughty thoughts in a diary she gets for Christmas at a pivotal period in her life. I like to think of it as Bridget Jones meets Story of O meets Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Wait till you get a peek at what Charlotte likes to draw!

It took a while for this work to come to fruition but now that it's here I couldn't be more excited about a book that I hope you will find engaging, fun, super sexy and highly readable. So stay tuned for more about...
